Project description: The objective was to re-route the skid transfer line so that additional equipment may be incorporated into that space. This amendment required the design of several equipment pieces. These included new extension arms which attach to an existing lift station. You can see there mounting plates, vertically sticking out in the top left hand corner of the picture. Attached to these extension arms is a roller bed which can be raised or lowered by means of a cam mechanism. This roller bed will maintain it’s raised position while accepting skids from the in-feed line. To transfer the skid off the roller bed, the roller bed will lower, placing the skid onto the cross transfer system (grey items). These transfers feed the skids onto another vertically manipulated roller bed, indicated in the lower right hand corner of the picture. This roller bed functions as that of the previous but has a slightly different configuration.
