Project Description: Industrial parts – washing machine
Requirement: Wash an array of pressed steel parts to remove process oils and contamination.
The system: Industrial belt type washing machine. Parts are fed in the one end and exit on the other. Whist traveling through the wash plant, these components are washed, rinsed and dried using carefully selected nozzles and nozzle configurations and blow-off. Each area is compartmentalized to limit carry-over of wash and rinse fluids. Both the wash and rinse tanks are heated to assist in removing the oils. An industrial blower assists with part blow-off, feeding four air-knives. All water is filtered and reused.
